What Outoffer collects

When you browse a deal, Outoffer records aggregate campaign views. When you press Get the deal, Outoffer records the click and creates an unguessable referral reference, a checkout attempt, and a short-lived campaign reservation.

When you reserve an upcoming offer, Outoffer stores the email address you provide in encrypted form plus a keyed digest used to prevent duplicate reservations. A preorder reservation is interest only: it is not payment information or a verified purchase.

Merchant accounts provide an email address and authentication information. If you use Google sign-in, Outoffer receives your verified email address and Google account identifier. Outoffer does not retain Google access or refresh tokens.

Payment verification

Outoffer receives signed server-to-server events from a merchant's connected payment provider. It stores the minimum identifiers and amounts needed to verify attribution, prevent duplicates, settle the campaign bounty, process reversals, and preserve the financial audit trail. Outoffer does not receive or store card details.

Analytics

Outoffer uses first-party campaign counters for views, Get the deal clicks, provider checkouts, successful payments, verified customers, and refunds. These counters help merchants understand their funnel. Traffic counters never authorise campaign spend.

Outoffer does not use third-party advertising trackers for the MVP. Referral fingerprints are derived server-side from a random session identifier and are used to limit duplicate active reservations; they are not customer identities.

How information is used and retained

Information is used to operate accounts, notify preorder registrants when the reserved offer becomes available, attribute provider checkouts, verify purchases, prevent abuse, support merchants, and keep financial records accurate. Provider credentials and preorder email addresses are encrypted at rest. Financial ledger entries, provider-event idempotency records, conversions, and reversals are retained as an immutable audit history and are not silently deleted.

Your choices

You can request access to or correction of your account information, or ask for an account to be closed, subject to records Outoffer must retain for security, fraud prevention, financial reconciliation, and legal obligations.
